I successfully obtained my first master’s degree in nternational trade at Saint Petersburg State University, Russia in 2014 and I am currently pursuing my second master’s degree in international law and economics at the World Trade Institute, University of Berne, Switzerland. The language of instruction in the context of both Master’s programs was English. Furthermore, I obtained the additional educational qualification of English–Russian interpreter for professional communication in 2013. Apart from being a Russian native speaker, I speak fluent English and have basic working knowledge of French. I have not only extensive experience in translation in general, but also I have international experience in this field within the United Nation system. Previously, I have interned with the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe, where I regularly did translation work amongst other things, inter alia, I translated and edited the official United Nations publication on Reference to Standards from English into Russian. Prior to this, I was engaged in joint project of St. Petersburg University and Barcelona University on publishing English course manual entitled Legal Aspects of International Economic Relations and Regional Integration in Russian in Russian. In the context of this project I translated chapters of the book from English to Russian. Furthermore, I have been a translator-volunteer in a number of projects of the United Nations Volunteers (UNV) program from September 2013. That is, I translated Pax Christi Peace Award speech from Russian to English for Pax Christi International Organization; I also translated English language subtitle transcriptions into Russian within UNDP/UNV Project 'Social Innovation and Volunteerism in Uzbekistan'
