My nationality is Brazilian and I finished high school in Brazil, but I graduated from Meio University, in Japan. My native languages are Portuguese and Japanese, and I studied Spanish and English when I was a college student. At the college, I studied Language Education and I worked at the Language Learning Center of Meio University for 2 years as an English and Portuguese language tutor, tutoring students in these 2 languages when I was a college student. During this time, I also got the ITTPC - master: the International Tutor Training Program Certification (ITTPC) certifies tutor training programs in postsecondary educational institutions. The purpose of the ITTPC program is twofold. First, certification provides recognition and positive reinforcement for the tutoring program’s successful work from an international organization, The College Reading and Learning Association. Second, the certification requirements set an internationally accepted standard of skills and training for tutors. After graduating, I worked as an online language teacher for 2 years, teaching English, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese to students from all over the world. I have been working until today as a freelance translator and interpreter, having 3 years of experience. I translate Portuguese, Spanish, Japanese, and English into these same four languages. If you are interested in my translation work (portfolio), please contact me. My graduation thesis ITTPC (International Tutor Training Program Certificate) and other documents are available to see on the same file. e-mail: bibikinjo@gmail.com
