My minimum rate is 0.08 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.10 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 8 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 20 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2017.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Subtitling, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about up to 10,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados, Wordfast, OmegaT.

my name is Cristina Varvello, I graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science of education and formation, from the University of Turin. After the University course, I enhanced my professional education by achieving degrees in Didactic of italian language with a Master in Italy and DITALS certification from the University of Siena.
During my studies, I previously had a curricular intership in human resource area and a teaching intership, in which I teach Italian language to foreign students.
After my DITALS certification, I had started to work for the Italian Consulate of Geneva(Switzerland) and different private schools in Lausanne and other city in Canton of Valais, where I still collaborate, as italian teacher. Through these experiences I have gained organizational managing and communication skills and honed my language skills.
I also had the opportunity to work as model in Italy and abroad, the love for fashion inspired me to start translating fashion articles and books. That’s why I took a course about Romans novel translation, whereby I had the opportunity to understand some details about this job (editing, proofreading, cutting etc.) and to text me in some english to italian translation. Therefore I’m interested in pursuing a translator and a proofreader position.
