But I prefer to work at 0.25 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 20 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 25 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2000.

I provide the following services: Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Subtitling, Voice-over, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about more than 1,000,000 words.

I do not use any computer aided translation tools.

ABOUT ME
I was born inEgypt and have been living in South Africa for the past fifteen years. I am fluent in Arabic, French and English, having learned all of these language while living in Egypt, France, Francophone Africa and England. Thus, she is not only competent in all three languages but the related cultures as well.
I have a CTEFLA (Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language) from the Royal Society of Arts, Cambridge as well as a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in English Literature from the University of Cairo. I am also in the process of completing my Master of Arts in Translation at the University of the Witwatersrand.
I have been involved in various translation and interpreting projects. These include:

• translation of interviews on DVD
• providing interpreting services for business professionals on work-related trips
• interpretation at global conferences, both locally and internationally.
I also have extensive experience in teaching English as a foreign language, both to children and adults. I have been involved in various outreach programmes in Mpumalanga where I facilitated teacher-training programmes in rural schools.
