My minimum rate is 0.04 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.08 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 20 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 40 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 1985.

I have worked as a freelance translator and editor with clients from North America (US and Canada) and across Europe (Germany, UK, and Italy) for more than twenty-five years.

Born and raised in Germany, I have lived in the United States for almost twenty years. My studies in those two countries earned me an M.A. in German, a Ph.D. in Interdisciplinary Studies (Literature, Women's Studies, Instructional Technology), a certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language, and a graduate degree in Education Administration. Also, I completed course work in American/English Studies, Linguistics, Psychology, and Philosophy.
