My minimum rate is 0.10 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.12 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 30 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 25 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

I have been working as a translator since 2012.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Linguistic Review.

By today, I have translated about 50,000 to 100,000 words.

I use the following tools: memoQ.

I am best in the following fields: Agriculture, Business / Commerce (General), Education / Pedagogy, Food / Nutrition, Gastronomy, Geography, Management, Medicine (General), Religion, Sports / Recreation / Fitness.

I am not a sworn translator.

I am a German native, living in the US since 1995. Being heavily involved in teaching / instructing and entrepreneurship quickly broadened my understanding and application of the English language, to the extent, that I consider it my “second” native language.
Founding and successfully running a seasonal artisan bakery since 2000 provides me with a solid background in all aspects of business management, public relations and advertising and marketing.
In 2004 I had the opportunity to research, develop and write a business plan and marketing brochure for a start-up company seeking to import goods from a German manufacturer. I was also responsible for corresponding with the German company, and translating all correspondence.
Through the research I have done in the medical sector I have gained a good understanding of medical terminology and I also have several medical dictionaries in my library.
I recently launched my freelance translation business after gaining experience as a volunteer translator for a non-profit organization. In August 2012 I received my Certificate in Translation with special merit form Words Language Services, Dublin, Ireland. Even-though I am just beginning my career as a freelance translator, I have to offer over a decade of experience in business communication, research and writing.
As an entrepreneur it has always been my top priority to deliver a first class product, on time.
