My minimum rate is 0.04 Euro per source word.

But I prefer to work at 0.07 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 25 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 30 Euro.

I have obtained an official translator / linguist degree.

I have been working as a translator since 2008.

I provide the following services: Translation, Proofreading, Interpretation (consecutive), Interpretation (simultaneous), Subtitling, Voice-over, Market Research, Consulting, Teaching (Language Courses).

By today, I have translated about 10,000 to 50,000 words.

I use the following tools: SDL Trados.

I am best in the following fields: Advertising & Public Relations, Art / Crafts / Painting, Arts and Humanities, Cosmetics / Beauty, Education / Pedagogy, General, History, Journalism, Linguistics, Literature / Poetry, Music, Philosophy, Psychology, Religion, Sports / Recreation / Fitness, Travel & Tourism.

I am available for work Full week, including weekends.

About my translation skills: I have a degree in German and English linguistics and have worked as a journalist in Zurich, Switzerland, and hold a post-graduate Diploma in Writing from Sheffield Hallam University in England. I have worked as a freelance translator part-time since 2008. I work with SDL Trados.

About myself: I am an authentic bilingual speaker of German and English, born in Berlin, Germany, grew up in Zurich, Switzerland, and have now been living in Sheffield, UK, since 2008. I have translated part-time for a Sheffield based agency since I started living in the UK. I am a qualified teacher and have worked in the teaching profession for 5 years. I am now training as a yoga teacher and thus stopped teaching full-time and am looking forward to committing more time to translation work.
