We are a team of two state-certified and sworn freelance translators, native Germans, who offer the language combination English-German. As we are two, we provide the special service of cross-checking each translation before delivery.

After having served apprenticeships as a medical laboratory assistant and a dairy operator, we have worked several years in these professions. This gives us the opportunity to offer practice-backed knowledge of the medical, scientific, technical and food processing area, as well as in the fields of QM (Quality Management) and TPM (Total Production Management).

After some years of practical work, we went to IfS (Institute for Language Professions) to get a thorough 3-year fulltime training in translating business/financial texts accompanied by a comprehensive training in the special field of economics.

During our time as freelance translators we have already translated technical (manuals, telecommunications), medical (device manuals, patient information, websites, study and research material), legal (terms and conditions, resolutions manual), marketing (commercials) and training material (Learning Management Systems LMS, sales training), as well as subtitles.

We are familiar with Trados and SDLX.

My colleague is working part time and I am full time working. We try to keep the weekend free but from time to time do also work on weekends if necessary.
