But I prefer to work at 0.08 Euro per source word.

I charge for my services at least 30 Euro per hour.

And my minimum charge per document is 50 Euro.

I have not obtained an official translator / linguist degree, but I still provide high-quality language services.

Maintaining accuracy while translating scientific or medical texts and patents is a specialist area in the translation market, which relies strongly on experience in these fields. But translating technical texts is just as demanding. To grasp an authors meaning and re-ensemble it in another language is a skill on its own.
Since 2016 I also started translation chemical, biological and medical patents from Englisch into German. Although this rather difficult merger of two very different fields presents a lot of challenges, I was able to gather the necessary experience to deliver high quality translations in good time.
